Delete your Check Yeah account
You can delete your account and everything in it at any time. It takes effect immediately and cannot be undone.
In the app (fastest)
- Open Check Yeah and go to Settings.
- Scroll to Danger zone and tap Delete my account.
- Confirm twice. You'll be signed out and your account is gone.
By email
Can't get into the app? Email support@checkyeah.app from the address you signed up with, with the subject “Delete my account”. We'll confirm it's you and delete the account within 7 days.
Delete some of your data without deleting your account
- A habit: open the habit and choose Archive. It leaves your Today list immediately. Archived habits and their history can be restored, or removed for good by emailing us (below).
- Home location: Settings → Home location → Clear. Location is only ever stored on your device, never on our servers.
- Anything else: email support@checkyeah.app and tell us what to remove (an archived habit, specific check-ins, anything). We'll do it within 7 days.
What gets deleted with your account
- Your account and sign-in identity (email, Google, or Apple).
- All habits, completions, streaks, rest days, and brain check-ins.
- Your profile and preferences.
Nothing is retained after deletion except what we're legally required to keep, such as purchase records held by the App Store or Google Play (which you manage through your store account) and anonymised crash reports that were never linked to you.
Subscriptions
Deleting your account does not cancel a Premium subscription. Cancel it in your App Store or Google Play subscription settings first, or it will keep renewing.
